Richard Sowan named panel member of The International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution

TravisWolff partner Richard Sowan has been named panel member of The International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR Institute). CPR Institute encourages dispute resolution in both public and private matters and is a multinational resource for business-related disputes.
The CPR Panels of Distinguished Neutrals consists of 1,000 of the highest quality arbitrators and mediators with specializations in more than 17 areas and industries. Nominated by another panel member, Sowan will provide resolutions in the Accounting and Professional Malpractice specialty.
Sowan is a member of the Executive Management Committee and serves as an assurance partner in TravisWolff's Enterprise Group, which focuses on mature businesses with formal and established financial processes, multiple investors and professional management.
Along with this recent appointment as a panel member for the CPR Institute, Sowan was appointed to the American Arbitration Association and serves as an arbitrator in accounting malpractice and business dispute matters.
Sowan earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida State University. Sowan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Exchange Club of East Dallas (past president), the National Association for Real Estate Investment Trust, the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association and the Richardson YMCA (past president).
