CAATs (Computer Assisted Audit Techniques)

CAAT analytics give our clients a better understanding of quality data within their organization. Through the use of CAATs, we’re able to leverage state of the art software such as CaseWare’s IDEA and other applications to extract and analyze data, as well as pinpoint trends, identify exceptions, and potentially discover fraud within that data. Our auditors can review, test, and analyze entire populations of data, which increases productivity and generates a more informed decision on the impact of possible financial statement errors. This is a significant advantage over manual data testing techniques.
