TravisWolff welcomes new managers and associates

DALLAS and SAN ANTONIO, Nov. 17, 2010 – TravisWolff is pleased to announce that several managers and associates recently joined our growing audit, tax, and advisory practices.

 

Jody Hillenbrand, CPA, CCIFP
Jody specializes in helping clients enhance their policies and procedures for improved accuracy and efficiency in their accounting and management functions. With expertise in the construction and manufacturing industries, she has worked with clients that have up to $500 million in revenues. Jody previously served as chief financial officer of a privately held company, where she participated in various aspects of financial and operational management.

 

David Weeks, CPA
David has more than 12 years of experience in tax compliance, consulting, and research, as well as expertise in FAS 109 and deferred tax calculations, and FIN 48 documentation. David has worked with corporations, S corporations, partnerships and individuals in a variety of industries, including construction, manufacturing and distribution, and retail. In addition to Big 4 experience, David previously served as the tax manager of the broadcast division at a global media and entertainment company.

 

Rudy Rogmans, CPA
Rudy’s practice focuses on financial, compliance and operational audits to examine the adequacy of financial representation, accounting practices, internal controls, legal compliance, and operational efficiency and effectiveness. During his time at a Big 4 firm, Rudy worked with both privately and publicly held companies in the energy/oil and gas, healthcare, financial, manufacturing, and non-profit sectors. In addition, he previously served as the controller/executive director at a food service equipment and supply buying group.

 

Michelle Barton, CPA, ABV, CFF, ASA
With more than 18 years of experience in public accounting, Michelle has performed more than 120 valuations of closely-held entities ranging from simple calculations to complex opinions in conjunction with matters pertaining to estate and gift tax compliance and planning, corporate reorganizations, shareholder dissention, C to S conversions, buy-sell agreements, divorce, incentive stock options, family limited partnerships, ESOPs, and stock-based compensation arrangements. Michelle has also assisted with economic damages, lost profits modeling, and preparation for testimony.

 

Amanda Hemker, CPA, CFE
Amanda has audited both public and private companies primarily in the software and technology, manufacturing and distribution, and healthcare industries. She also has extensive experience with employee benefit plans and public company filings such as 10-Qs and 10-Ks, as well as accounting for stock based compensation and complex stock transactions, including those with embedded derivatives. Prior to joining TravisWolff, Amanda was an assurance and advisory services manager at a Dallas firm, where she also served as an outsourced controller for a large, public manufacturing company.
